Bacarrat – How to Win Big at Bacarrat

Known for being one of the most luxurious casino games, bacarrat is played on large tables in high-roller rooms for table minimums of $25 or more. It has been made famous by James Bond in the movie “Casino Royale” and is popular among Asian players, where it generates over 80% of casino profits. The game is easy to understand, with a house edge that is much lower than that of slots and most other casino games. Baccarat rounds last only a few minutes and offer a chance to win big money.

The game is played between a player and dealer, with the objective of getting a hand closest to nine points. Each hand receives two cards, and only the one with the total closer to nine wins. The croupier (dealer) handles the game, collecting and paying bets. The croupier deals from a dealing box, called a shoe, which holds eight 52-card decks. The cards are shuffled together and dealt to the players from numbered areas marked on the table, with a third card for the banker.

In addition to bets on Banker, Player, and Tie, baccarat offers an array of side bets that can increase the excitement and potential for winning money. These include Super Six and Pair Bets, which can pay up to 12x the initial bet amount.

To place a Super Six bet, the player places their bet next to the original bet on either the Banker or Player hands. If the first two cards are a 6, 7, or 8, the player wins.
